Do you remember,
the 21st night of September...
We cordially invite you to make something wonderful with us as we say “I do” on September 21st, 2024. We’ve chosen to wed at the beautiful Thacher House estate in Ojai, California. Expect to be one with nature for the evening as we surround ourselves with olive trees, flowing rivers, and pink sunsets.
For a few magical days you’ll be our guests. We plan to host you in the way we know best — Delicious food that was grown from the ground you’ll be standing on, a wine glass that somehow always finds itself full, and once-in-a-lifetime celebration of love.
There are a few more surprises in store but we’ll hold those for the day-of. To help ensure your weekend is as perfect as possible, use the information below. It will help you plan your trip and know what to expect on the day. For any other questions, send us an email or text.
Travel
If you are traveling from outside of Los Angeles, we recommend flying into Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). From there, you have a few options to reach Ojai:
Rent a Car: You can rent a car from LAX and drive to Ojai. The drive takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on traffic. You'll need the vehicle from Friday (9/20) through Sunday (9/22).
Car Service: Arrange a car service from LAX to Ojai. There are several car service providers available that can take you directly to your destination in Ojai. Alternatively, you can also use an Uber or Lyft.
If you decide to rent a car, it’s worth noting that you won’t have much use for it during the weekend. Ojai is a small town that is very walkable, and the venue is only accessible to guests through the shuttles.
Accommodations
Ojai provides a great mix of options for your stay. We recommend any of the options below as they offer a great mix of affordability and quality. No matter which option you choose, you’ll be within walking distance of all Ojai has to offer. If a hotel isn’t for you, Airbnb and other services are a great option.
*These hotels each also serve as pick-up and drop-off points for the shuttle system.
Attire
The required attire for the event is Black-tie. It is not black-tie optional or black-tie adjacent. For ladies, that is a floor length dress. For men, that is a tuxedo with your preference of either a straight or bow-tie. The bridge and groom recommend using The Black Tux for renting.
The bride and groom also ask that guests avoid wearing whites or cream colors.
